The Firmstrong Urban Lady 24” Single Speed Women’s Cruiser Bike is an ideal bicycle for girls, teens or adult women who are between the heights of 4’ – 5’2”. This is a smooth riding, easy to pedal cruiser for female riders who are too tall for a 20” cruiser but maybe a little too short for a 26”. Ideal for kids and teens who have outgrown their kids bike but aren't quite ready for an adult size bike or for adult women who may not feel comfortable on a 26”. This bike is more compact and lower to the ground than a 26” giving shorter riders more stability. This is a great bike that is ideal for the recreational bike rider who wants to ride casually and wants a simple bicycle that is fun and easy to operate.
The Urban Lady 24” has one gear and one brake, so riding and operating this cruiser bike is simple. Even for those of us who haven’t ridden in a long time, or aren't really comfortable riding a bike. Trust us here at Firmstrong, “it’s just like riding a bike.” No cables hanging off the bike or complicated gear systems, the Urban Lady is a no frills cruiser bicycle that does as advertised. It makes bike rides fun, relaxing and comfortable. The ride is smooth and effortless, the wide tires and spring saddle make the ride soft and comfortable. The brake system is a coaster brake, which means the rider pedals backwards to stop, just like the original beach cruisers. Don’t let the one gear fool you it will be able to serve the differing needs of various riders. While only one gear, riders will still be able to maintain a consistent cruising speed from 5 to 15mph. In addition, riding up hills is not out of the question. Of course having gears makes uphill riding easier but because of the single speed configuration riding uphill will be achievable.
